Social Networks
These are web sites that provides a virtual community for people to congregate and share information in a variety of subjects. Members generally create an online Profile containing biographical data, pictures and personal information they wish to share. Most communication is in the form of keyboard data entry, for example, chat, forums and blogs but also might include more advance electronic communication like voice and even videoconferencing.
Several social networks include topic areas for promoting and discussing product and service sales. ClassifiedFlyerAds includes access to the most popular of these site on every flyer using a social network strip, see Fig. 1. An interested party can easily add a member's flyer to a social network by simply clicking the desired network icon in the strip. Member flyers that have been added to social networks have both the advantage of increased viewership of their product and, as important, increased page ranking possibilities on popular search engines like, Google and Yahoo.
